Re: Steven Wright,

This guy's dry sense of humor and 'monochromatic' voice has cracked me up for years. Anyone else a fan?

Re: Steven Wright,

Thank you nomad13rr, I'm glad there is at least one other .org member out there that shares my twisted sense of humor. One of my favorites is:

'You know that feeling you get when you tilt back in a chair and it reaches the balance point and you know that you are going over? Pins and needles? I feel like that all the time.' Oh yeah!

Steven Wright is one of my favorties.

Is a paradigm worth 20 cents?

Same here, a long-time favorite. I actually had the pleasure of seeing him perform live back around 1983/1984.

Re: Steven Wright,

I've seen him at the Garden State Arts center a few times. I qoute him all the time and no one ever knows what I'm talking about.

'I lost a button hole'
'I named my dog Stay, come her Stay, Stay come here!'
I bought powdered water, what do you add?'
' I bought a harmonica, I can't play it, but I hold it out the window when I'm driving and it sounds really cool.'

later in the set

' I put a new engine in my car. I forgot to take the old one out and now my car does 700MPH' The harmonica sounds unbeleivable!'
