Christmas gifts that suck

Ok it's the thought that counts right? But if it's obvious that little thought has gone on well.... Whats the worst gift you've been given at christmas time? I recall about age 15 when I started to get some peach fuzz on my face every relative I had gave me a bottle of cheap after shave, remember old spice and brut? Well I had the stuff stock piled until I was about 25... It never occurred to me that I could probably have run my dirt bikes on the stuff for couple of years and maybe won a few more races while the other riders got high or barked on the smell of my exhaust smoke...

Cheap! I thought there were anly two brands.

I was young and stupid then. I'm old and stupid now.

I started off with nothing and still have most of it left.

Re: Christmas gifts that suck

Speaking of socks a few years back I threw out all of my socks except the black ones, no more odd socks. Ever.

Re: Christmas gifts that suck

I know Christmas is about giving an all and the thought that goes into buying pressies.. but what about when you tell people what you would like for Christmas, as they ask you for ideas, but they then completely ignore your 'wish list' and get you completely different things.. I mean whats the point of asking for ideas if they are going to completely ignore you?

Speaking of socks again.. I always buy the same black socks now so we wont have the odd sock issue.. I HATE wearing odd socks!!

The worst Christmas pressie I ever got was an iron! My ex boyfriend decided I could not possibly be a complete woman without one as I didnt own one at the time. (I hate ironing and dont do it!)

I would have got the ironing board as well to go with it but he had a 2 seater sports car and couldn't fit an ironing board in it!!!

Re: Christmas gifts that suck

I think the worst Christmas present i got was a singing fish, you know the ones that sing when you walk past. Well, my dear old mum asked me one year what I thought about them, and I knew straight away that's what she was giving me for Christmas. A PHUCKIN SINGIN FISH, come on, so I told her I thought they were the biggest waste of money and the lamest thing going around, and guess what, no singing fish. I was so stoked about not getting a singing fish and was wrapped to get socks and jocks instead. But low and behold, 2 years later you'll never guess what popped up under the Christmas tree. Yep! the PHUCKIN SINGIN FISH! My dear old mum kept it for two year's and still gave it to me. God, I hate those PHARKIN SINGIN FISH!

I was young and stupid then. I'm old and stupid now.

Clearly, your Mom knows you better than you know yourself

I cannot remember a single gift that I was not happy to receive. That's right, I've become senile.

Re: Christmas gifts that suck

When I was a teenager my female cousin gave me a stuffed dog with a radio in it. I think it was my Aunt that gave it to me in my cousin's name. I couldn't stand my aunt and she didn't like me much. F'n bitch. But back to the gift. Not only was is a crappy gift choice, the damned radio didn't even work. That gift became a target for my shotgun.

Ahh. I never worry about it. Odd socks is the new fashion out there. I usually put some into the wash, only to find one comes back. Into my drawer it goes.

Your lucky... I had a singing reindeer - every time you walked into the room the antlers would get snagged on your jacket and it would fall off. One day it accidentally got knocked off* by the dog - Problem solved.

I think its the perfect resting place for them...

Now, if SSB has been paying attention for the last few weeks he will realise I've already told him I what I would like for Christmas this year...

If you hear screams of anguish and pain coming from SSB up here on Christmas morning you will know he got it wrong and various presents are being forcibly inserted in places they were not intended to go..

I think you may have to right it down on a piece of paper, you know how these old minds get over time.
