Touching e-mail

I just received this e-mail from a military mom at my church. I chose not to disclose any of the soldiers mailing addresses for reasons which I hope are obvious, but if any of you feel compelled to send them mail/packages send me a PM and I'll get you the list.

Remember folks, these are the men and women that are dying for us to be able to have the lives that we have.

Subject: Something for Soldiers

My friend Dot's cousin Jim Carman (retired military and still works as a civilian for the military), sent her this list which he got through his military buddies. It is a list of some of the soldiers who have little to no mail or packages and many are a long way from home. Some are stateside and others in the war zones.

I am passing it on to you. If there is someone you would like to mail or send a little care package to I am sure they would love it. If you have any questions you could contact Dot's cousin Jim. His name is James W.Carman, and you can reach him at [email protected] He's a Test & Evaluation Engineer for JPM Guardian from his signature he sent in his e-mail to Dot.

Merry Christmas. Pass it to someone else if you would like.

Laurie

Ok, we have all been there, someplace other then home at Christmas, it was hard on us then and its hard on our troops today.....but we can help

Have an extra Christmas Card, Cookies or Holiday Specials to share with the warriors protecting our way of life? Pick a name, pass it on, let them know we support them! Get them to the schools and churches also! Semper Fi!

Re: Touching e-mail

As many of you probably remember, I was deployed last year as well as Mattress. Nothing brings a smile to a guys face like having your name called as they pass out mail. If you've never been in that kind of situation then I wouldn't expect you to understand, but let me put it this way. It's like walking up to the hottest chick you can find in the bar, asking for her phone number, and actually getting a real one.

If there's any interest in this, anything could also be sent to:

60th Civil Engineering Squadron
Fire Protection Flight
411 Hanger Ave.
Travis AFB, CA 94535

Anything sent would be forwarded to our two teams deployed. Merry Christmas!!

No matter how beautiful a woman may be, some man somewhere is sick of her sh!t.

Message from Iraq

The proud warriors of Baker Company wanted to do something to pay tribute To our fallen comrades. So since we are part of the only Marine Infantry Battalion left in Iraq the one way that we could think of doing that is by taking a picture of Baker Company saying the way we feel. It would be awesome if you could find a way to share this with our fellow countrymen.
I was wondering if there was any way to get this into your papers to let the world know that WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN and are proud to serve our country.
