My MP3 Player Dilemma

I am having a problem deciding which mp3 player I want. I have narrowed it down to two. The iPod 20GB Gen III, and the iRiver iHP - 120. I am leaning toward the iRiver becausr it has a few things the iPod dosen't, although iPod has made a great name for itself and fan base (like a blade). Any thoughts?

iRiver
iPod

I've got the iRiver and I absolutely love it. I've heard nothing but great things about the iPod, but I wanted something small and lightweight for mountain biking, etc., plus it's got the FM receiver. I'm very impressed with it - great sound, great features and great battery life.

Re: My MP3 Player Dilema

Personally, I wouldn't buy an ipod till changed the battery and allowed for replacement/upgraded batteries. The battery life is too short and it's not replaceable.

From CNet:
Apple claims the internal lithium-ion battery will last 8 hours, but that's with the button backlighting and the EQ turned off and the volume limited to 50 percent. With heavy use, involving lots of backlighting and On The Go playlist creation, our test unit lasted about 6 hours.

Re: My MP3 Player Dilema

They claim the iHP-120 is a iPod killer. It has 16hrs of battery time give or take a few depending how you use it. I have searched all the local big name stores in Madison and none of them carry the iRiver 20GB, just the lesser models. I guess I will be buying online... It retails for $399, but I found as cheap as $338+s/h online.
