in preparation for the new PC i am moving all my files to my second drive.

Can somebody tell me what the OUTLOOK EXPRESS contact list and mail storage folder are labeled as?

Go to Tools/Options, Maintenance Tab and open the 'Store Folder...' button. That window will show the location of the existing mail store. Use the same button to change the default location of OE to wherever you park the folder after moving it.

It should move as a part of the folder. If it doesn't, just do an export to a Windows CSV (Comma separated Value) file and import into the new OE install.

you can export it as a CSV or PAB. However, OE doesn't use a PAB. I did a search for one and found nothing. The contact list is different from the PAB in the Outlook
