I was pleasantly surprised on Christmas by my wife who had bought me the MotoMP3 player by Sound Factory. However, after several failed attempts at downloading songs from my PC to the player, I got pissed. The next day, business day for a lot of us, I e-mailed them for support. Then the day after that, after still not having gotten a reply, I went into Best Buy and checked out the MP3 players. I couldn't believe what I'd found. I remember reading someone here had just gotten the iRiver and was happy about it. So there I was staring at many iRiver players and noticing how pale in comparison the MotoMP3 player was to the iRiver. For the same price my wife paid I bought the iRiver 390T (256mb) player and walked out of the store happier.

My wife and I think the iRiver rocks. So I can't mount the iRiver onto the back of my helmet, who cares. But I can strap the iRiver onto my arm and be on my way. Besides, with gloves on, I found having the player strapped on the arm much easier to utilize then to feel the back of my helmet. Anyways, my wife is sending back the MotoMP3 player, refunding me, and still paying less after having bought the upgrade (iRiver). Had to share.

I recently got hold of the Panasonic MP3 player - although I think it is quite good, easy to use with gloves thanks to the "push in for play/pause. push up for next back for previous" type switch, I find it a pain when you can't just drag and drop MP3 files onto a card an dhave it work. Panasonic have decided to make you go through real player to convert the tracks into something the Panasonic can read. a real pain in this day and age where swapping cards should be the biggest chore to try someone elses music..

May have to see what IRiver have
