Ghost Recon

Newest addition to our Xbox library. Anybody else have it? What are your thoughts?

I was playing 2 player last night with a buddy, found it a little hard to maneuver/find my way around. Part of it has to do with the split screen mode I'm sure and I'm also hooked on SOCOM's control's...

Re: Ghost Recon

Yeah, playing split screen sucks. Play it online. Which Ghost Recon did you get? (I can't remember if the new one that came out was just an add-on and needed the first one or not. I have both though.)

Re: Ghost Recon

I'm pretty sure it's the first one. My buddy got it for Christmas from his brother. It's a used one, so I'm sure it's the first one.

Gotta at least get used to the controls before playing online....

I've got the Island Thunder. I like it, but haven't really played it in a while. Can't wait for that DSL.

Re: Ghost Recon

I have it and keep getting wiped out during the first mission. I haven't played it much though but it's supposed to be a very good game.

Re: Ghost Recon

I have it, and it's one of my all time favorites. Of course, I think I am a little in the minority here because I have no problem spending a few hours crawling around a level taking out the bad guys as a sniper. I will sometimes form a team of me and one other person as snipers, and set out the clear the area. I think most people are more Doom style where they want a 200 round per second machine gun, and run through the whole level spraying bullets.. I prefer the more silent approach. I did unlock the seige game where you clear the Embassy level on Veteran mode with nothing but 1 sniper. It was a real pain in the ass, but I did it. When you have four guys coming at you, and a bolt action rifle, it gets tense. You have to find areas where you can stay under cover better.
