Just get it polished no chrome it will damage your wheels. Don't mind the haters get the bling bling. If that is what you like.

Re: wheel chroming

On another site a chap with a set of chromed wheels suddenly had a flat for the darn r/wheel broke due to the stress on the metal from the chrome job. Also another chap, in that business, mentioned some of the things that can go wrong (along with other wheels breaking), also the extra dead weight to the chromed wheels. Others pointed out to not even polish the wheels for then one is left continually trying to keep them lookig good.

Customer of ours had his wheels on his GSXR chromed & said it was the worst mistake he had ever done.

Besides only pozers & Cruiser/Hardley people believe chrome is a must like the chromed studs & such on their vests, jackets, gloves, etc.

While a polished surface can be a PITA to maintain, it actually strengthens the metal. This has been discussed a few times too, I think it might even be in the thread that Bake posted. And if you're too lazy to maintain it, you can always squirt it with a clear coat and be done with it
