Home Gym

*whew* Tired of installing/assembling things for tonight.

Not much;still a work in progress.... Getting there though.

Still gotta get some conduit for the TV wires, and get better "platforms" for the machines to sit on.

Re: Home Gym

Can both of you use the machines Simultaneously the way they’re stationed?
What kind of TV is that?

Yep, plenty of room between. It's a Sharp 15" LCD TV.

Re: Home Gym

We don't have a lot of room to work with in this house, but when we get a bigger one there are a few other machines we want to get.

Re: Home Gym

Conq, are those machines for a cardio workout? What are they? I'm looking into getting some cardio and some weight machines. I usually work out at lunchtime (my workplace has a decent gym) but sometimes I'm too busy and I'd like some home stuff. Any cardio recommendations, bikes? treadmills? Anyone ever use the Weider crossbow? I'm thinking that'll be easier than dealing with all the weight stacks.

I've read about 100 reviews of the crossbow vs the bowflex. It can be up to $1000 difference and most of what I've read says get the boxflew unless you can't afford it. The crossbow is good but the bowflex is better. FWIW my brother and his wife are big fitness freaks and they recommend the bowflex.

Is it Jan 1st or something?

p.s.

Thanks for the info! The Jan 1st comment made me I work out all the time, but I know what you mean. The gym at work will be more crowded than usual this month...then it'll taper off. I see that every year!
