Torque review

From another site

Quote:
Let's just say that it got alot of boo's. The first sceen shows a guy on an aprilia doing a wheelie between 2 cars at 150. They have lots of sceens where they take street bikes off road but you can totally tell that they are dirtbikes by the suspension with fairings on them. Alot of stupid riding and mission impossible kind of stunts where they are spinning on their front wheel spinning their back wheels at eachother fighting. Jesse James makes an short apperance. 2 bikes are west coast choppers and the rest are nothing special. Bikes get destroyed left and right. Everyone made fun of it as we left.

When get got out to the parking lot we got our suprise ending. 2 bikes got stolen while we were in the movies. An Rc51 and a cromed out Gsx-r 1k. I out a wheel lock on mine so I don't know if that prevented anyone from getting it but I really felt bad for the guys who's bikes were gone.

Re: Torque review

Looking at the trailers, it appears that several scenes are totally animated computer stuff ala road rash. These days, if it's pastel, then it's Pixar . . .

hey at least the Biker Boyz stunts were REAL ie no blue screen, no computer graphics ok? Gimme that much ok??

and for all those new to the board...I worked on BIKER BOYZ. Did the PR for the film...so let me have some face here....all stunts were done for real on Biker Boyz.

So they really had a busa drag racing on a dirt road at 150+ and he successfully stopped it in about 20 feet before careening into a barbed wire fence? Wow....I take back every non believing moment in that movie

Okay, the synchronized kickstand routine was probably a true stunt...I'll give you that much

I'm only seeing it because my bike will be in it.

Bikes and women - both have nice curves.

I'd just like to see my bike on the big screen.

Bikes and women - both have nice curves.

No offence there Asian, but Biker boys was a piece of shiat from beginning to end, just like Driven was and Torque will probably be.... I don't get why they have to add so much bullshit to a sport that is spectacular without having to add anything? hell I did not even remembered about the synchronized kickstand routine
