Need help naming a new business

A couple of guys and I are opening a hand wash & detail shop in downtown Atlanta. We will also sell wheels, tires, and some random accessories. This will be a professional looking operation in an up & coming yuppy 'hood, not your average car wash/crack house at an abandoned gas station. To give you an idea, I wanted "Skyline", but some legalities stopped that. We've half-heartedly settled on "Neptune", but it seems to remind everyone of fish. I need some razor sharp biker wit to come up with a cool, catchy name. I am new here and nobody knows me, but I would appreciate the help. Thanks in advance!

Re: Need help naming a new business

To go along with your user name, how about 'Lost Sheep'?
Before you beat yourselves up over a name that sounds like the industry, remember that some of the most successful businesses have names nothing like their respective industries.
Monster = jobs?
Ebay = auction?
Amazon = bookstore?
Apple = computers?
PepBoys = auto parts?
Etc., etc.
Think of some of your local companies also.
Around here one of the larger and very succesful carwash/detail chains is called Supersonic.

This may have just screwed you up even worse, but you may just want to use a name that is catchy and memorable - without worrying about it sounding like the business.

Actually, that sounds expensive. How 'bout 'D Tel's'.

Re: Need help naming a new business

BDA116, that's kinda what I've been going for. I originally wanted "Skyline" just because I like the way it sounds. The big car wash in ATL is "Cactus". I would like an off-the-wall name that rolls off the tongue, and sticks in your mind. No idea is too crazy or stupid.

Re: Need help naming a new business

Taking from the subtle 'after-effect' marketing: "Lou Mina's" (pronounced: luminous)

..too tired to think of anything half-witty right now unfortunately. You looking for single word statement, phrase farmiliarity, or something unrelated altogether?
