Re: Really freaking cold

Same temp here today but it was raining

What's normal if that's considered cold?

Rain? In sub-teen temps?

We're on Fahrenheit, remember?

Re: Really freaking cold

I heard that in Maine the high in the whole state was 17 degrees Yesterday. People were going into meat lockers to warm up.

Re: Really freaking cold

Our area saw a high of 2 degrees today...it's expected to be around 40 below with the wind chill factor tonight. They've already started showing school closings for tomorrow.

Yeah, it was so cold around these parts I actually got the bike out twice this week. It was almost 50 degrees I know we are going to pay for it soon though, but I don't know how soon......

Re: Really freaking cold

its -10F here right now, and if your building is located on the top of a hill in the city with a ~15-20 mph constant wind and you lose your heating system it only takes about 9 minutes to pop the sprinkler pipes in your entry foyer.

Just thought I'd add some relativity to the subject for those in the 35+ areas of our great nation

Re: Really freaking cold

That is showing an indoor temp of 60.3 right? I suppose you just need to put a sweater on and your fine.

Re: Really freaking cold

Here in NJ, it was 0 or 1 degree F last night. I think we broke a 100 year old record or something. All I know is it's too freakin' cold to even go outside. Brrrrr.

OK, I can't take it ND4! It's 60 degrees INSIDE, and 7.7 OUTSIDE!

Yea, my furnace shuts off for a couple minutes and then it's right back on. Electric bill will be very high (electric forced air system).
