I realize that for the majority of you, this is REALLY wimpy. But for Tucson, it is big news. It snows here in "the valley" about once every 3-4 years. Check out tomorrow's weather forecast. If it materializes, this is always "fun", 'cause people here haven't the slightest idea how to deal with this driving-wise. Multiple fender-benders galore! ...Heavy Snow Warning Above 4000 Feet Tuesday And Tuesday Night...
rain and snow will develop on Tuesday... then change to showers Tuesday night. Snow levels will start near 6000 feet but will fall to 4000 feet late Tuesday afternoon... and as low as 3000 feet Tuesday night. Total storm accumulations will range from 2 inches at 4000 feet... to 3 to 6 inches in Oracle... to 14 inches on MT. Lemmon. A minor slushy accumulation is also possible in the foothills around Tucson Tuesday night.>
