Hey guys,views pls.

hey folks how are you all doing ? wondering if anyone can help wi some info here ?? I bought a brand new helmet off website, turns out it too big, asked for exchange !! which they seem reluctant to do,any idea what my rights are ? They've said iv to post inner linning and cheekpads back to them, and they'll send me out smaller sized ones,at an extra cost to me !! I dont think this is the correct way to do a transaction properly ,Anyone got any views ?

Honestly you should have checked the measurements, so i see where they are coming from. Why should they have to pay for a mistake that was made by you. What are they trying to charge you for them?

Re: Hey guys,views pls.

I used their measuring chart / scale, and ordered the size accordinly, but its huge !! things are sounding a bit more wrong, have spoken to a few ppl who have ordered same helmet from same place, and we were all told the next day, that our helmets in the said colour were sold out ,but they would be getting a delivery the next day,and helmets should be with us in 7 days, sounds to me like this person doesnt actually have any helmets in stock and is buying in from somewhere else,as for price, hes charging me 20,plus i have to post the original linnings back to him

That is wrong then. If you followed off their size chart there is a definite problem on their end. How did you pay? What website did you buy it from?

Re: Hey guys,views pls.

Yep, if you file a claim with paypal, and can prove you used the chart. then it shouldn't be an issue. I mean you didn't wear the helmet for a few hours getting all sweaty did you? That would seem to be their concern, I would guess. Anyway, Get a claim filed with paypal and keep us update what happens.

Re: Hey guys,views pls.

Yup, Paypal claim.

Write the helmet place a nice letter explaining that you will be filing a claim the next day. If they have any bits, they will get right back to you. If not, paypal is very good at what they do and they are paid a premium to deal with such things.

Good luck
