Re: Project car

"The Insurance company paid out 1.3 million dollars on this vehicle."

That sounds ridiculous! How much is one of those things new?

Re: Project car

If I recall correctly, the list price is in the neighborhood of $750K.

It hurts my eyes, and my heart, to see that crashed Enzo.

Re: Project car

I bet fixing that would cost well over $100K.
I'm sure the insurance payout was so high due to the lady in the '92 Sable they rearended. Look up, see that in the rearview and all of the sudden you have unbearable pains everywhere except your dialing finger.
There's also the fact that the Enzo can't exactly be replaced. They have all been sold, and you pretty much have to pay what the owner wants to but one used.

Re: Project car

I can fix it! My dad's a TV repairman with an ultimate set of tools!

Too bad it wasn't this one, it was an TLC's "Rides" tv show where they put some incredibly heavy chrome rims on it and made aluminum spline adapters to bolt them up.
