My '06 100RR has about 14,000 miles on it. Lately I've noticed a lag between the time I roll on the throttle and when the engine begins to pull. AND there's a jolt now when the engine kicks in. Bit of a problem when leaned over at the apex and rolling on throttle causes the rear to buck. Any ideas what's happening and how to fix??
Thanks. I had done that with no difference. It's wierd. Doesn't matter what engine speed I'm at or what road speed. Even if I back off the gas for just a split second it still bucks if I come back on throttle hard. No problem if I roll on smoothly - but that's no fun!!
obstruction in the airbox or air intake? Dirty Air filter, dirty fuel filter. ? Check your service papers and see if they replaced those. If not replace them.
Good points.
I'm over 15k miles now so it'll be in for service the next 2/3 weeks.
The guys at my shop are pretty good so they should figure it out (hopefully).
I'll post what they find and if my baby runs better when I get her back.
In any event, I think it's time for new pipes and PCIII (and sprockets, and suspension, and throttle cables, and steering damper, and new job to pay for all this...).
By the way, Fastrr, Charlize is absolutely SMOKING.......
