GIVI 233f topbox rack.... or similar

I know this subject has probably been thrashed to death over the years, but I am aware that there was a give rack produced to fit my 1998 CBR900RR... the 233f... but.. it seems to be out of production now... typical of my luck...

....Has anyone been able to adapt another rack to fit.... or is this a non starter..?

I do have Oxford side bags that I can use.... but wanted a top box not only for touring... but for pillion support...

Any idea's.... or advice...?
Cheers
P.

I want to get this Ventura-bike rack for my 929 one day. Check for yours. Europeon companies seem to make stuff like this for bikes also if that helps.

I've considered making my own because it looks so easy.

I've come across this one......

Kappa K1200 Universal Monorack | MotoStorm [en]

.... but not sure how the brackets will line up with what the Blade has under the seat..... and might end up being a complete waste of money... :-(

You're probably better off with a Renntec sports rack and a 30 ltr dry bag strapped to it

At least it would give your pillion a bit of support
