Help me decide on pants !

Whats up guys, I have been focusing a lot of attention to riding gear. just picked up a a* GP-r leather perf jacket with some a* gloves. Freakin in love with the jacket, gloves are a little to snug but will work for now. Having a very hard time choosing between these 3

A* track leather pants

A* A-10 leather/textile pants

A* express drystar overpants

you guys have any opinions or suggestions ? Whatever I get will be used at all times on the bike.

Re: Help me decide on pants !

I'd personally buy the track pants as you'd then have a proper matching zip together two piece suit, I like two piece (especially as I'm only a road rider) as you can then use the bottoms separately with a textile jacket or use the leather jacket with a pair of Kevlar jeans.

Re: Help me decide on pants !

Agree with above posts. I have Astars gloves, jacket, pants. good quality stuff for sure, but their sizing drives me insane. Whatever size you THINK you need, get two sizes bigger. trust me on this. I've been thru returns, even took my pants to a leather seamstress to make them fit right.
Same thing with the gloves. I normally wear large, but with Astars, I had to get their XXL gloves, and like you say, even then they're tight, especially the thumb. But they do break in to fit good and snug but still comfy.

I agree, Alpinestars stuff seems to be sized for tiny Italians, all my jackets are a size up leaving plenty of room for layers underneath and a back protector, there's nothing worse than a tight jacket, they cut across the shoulders.
