Users of Arai Quantum 2

Arai has discontinued the only helmet that I could ever fit properly.
Are there those on this board who used Quantum 2 helmets and have since replaced it with another helmet?
Which type did you replace it with?
Thanks.

Re: Users of Arai Quantum 2

Well, just in case anyone cares.
I went out helmet fitting and found that a large Shoei X11 fits the closest. X12 is more oval. And RF1000 and RF1100 are very oval.
The inside of an Arai helmet still feels 100 fold better than any other brand on the market. All others feel very cheap in comparison, even the top of the line Shoei.
It still baffles me that the helmet they claimed was their best seller ever has been discontinued. It was the only helmet ever shaped like that.

All helmets are very individual so you can only try them all until you find what is most comfortable for you on your particular bike. Even the same lid on a different bike can be a problem due to different neck position and screen set up.
Personally, an Arai was the most uncomfortable lid I've ever worn.
