08+ Fireblade Tank bag

Does anyone use one and what kind? This is my first bike with a plastic tank cover and I am guessing magnetic is out of the question. Does the steering stabilizer limit selection or will most strap bags fit?

Re: 08+ Fireblade Tank bag

I'm also after some help with tank bag options.
I've got an 08 blade and 10 daytona so I need something that ideally has both magnets and straps, clear top for satnav/maps and that is a reasonable size. I've got a oxford humpback rucksack at present which is a little small, but well made and wondering about the Oxford 1st time Tank and Tailor
Whats the quality of this like up to the sports range or are there any other suggestions.....thanks

Re: 08+ Fireblade Tank bag

the best product out there is made by Baglux.
You buy the tank cover which is excellent at protecting the tank and also give you good grip for your thighs.
Then you can choose from a number of tank bags which you simply clip on to the cover.

I have the bagster setup (Baglux is the same thing) on all my bikes and love it.

Re: 08+ Fireblade Tank bag

Silicone some rare earth magnets under the plastic tank cover which allows you to continue using the magnetic tank bags.
