I wouldn't suggest a cheap ebay one. GiPro-X seem to be the best, expensive but really well made.

I'll agree with Gunk here, although I don't have one.....yet, I've been eyeing Healtech's gear indicator product. I have a Healtech Speedo Healer on my 93 and it seems to be a top notch piece. They're also close to you as well, pretty sure the US distributer is in Idaho. Easy website, good customer service (called them to verify they had it), and quick shipping. Perfect experience.

I suggest you buy it right meow

Where do you plug them in on an earlier bike?

I added a speed sensor circa RRS to my RRP, I can only assume it goes in line with that somehow. The speed sensor was pretty easy once you have the parts in hand. Relatively cheap too. I did it to accommodate my 600F4i gauges that I added.

Re: Gear Indicator Shift counter on a 954?

Thanks Ian, I found the installation instructions on their website, looks fairly straightforward on an RRR.

I'll see how I get on without one first, but nice to know that there is an elegant solution out there should I feel I need it.
