What is wrong with your crank?
Have you had a quote to repair it?
You are aware of the cost of replacing it on top of simply buying it?
Just _repairing_ one journal is probably US$300 at a guess.

More likely a bigend than a main.
Don't know about Cali.
There are lots of crank repairers but I would recommend Falicon or APE.

I don't know how many miles you have on it, have you considered buying a used engine and saving yours for parts. Buy the time you add up the crank repair, shipping, gaskets and bearings, it might be cheaper and less work.Years ago I bent a shift fork and found it cheaper and easier to swap the engine with a salvaged one, put 60k on the salvaged engine and it was still running great when I sold it.
