Race shift

Hi peeps, anyone got a clue what gear pedal to use on my 99 fireblade, to reverse the gearshift? I believe a vfr shifter is the way to go, but unsure of what year/model to use. Thanks in advance John 😎

Hey buddy

I use a set of Attack rear sets on my 99 track bike, with a smaller diameter shift rod to clear the frame. You can certainly try the offset VFR one, or maybe even the regular one from the 92-94 (there was no linkage on those years in the US). That might work if you're using OEM rear sets. I just took the knuckle on the shift shaft and turned it upside down.

And sorry, forgot to add that I think the VFR one is the same years 94-97 or so for the offset shift lever.

I know guys have used it on the 929 and 954 for GP shift with OEM footpegs.

Good luck.
