Self Maintenance

hey guys

just wondering if anyone knows of any good books or something that is good to teach yourself good bike maintenance and mechanics?
Any that i could get in australia would be helpful. Just save some money on the cheap bikes that have no warranty so i can 'service' to the best of my ability plus teach me more about motor mechanics.

cheers

Re: Self Maintenance

Clymer makes a pretty detailed repair manual for most bikes.

Re: Self Maintenance

on Clymer manuals, I have one for my Blade and I prefer it to Haynes. Either of these should be enough to guide you though routine servicing.

Some years ago I also bought Haynes Techbooks, on motorcycle electrical systems and motorcycle maintenance, but I have never actually got around to looking through them!

There are also some decent websites, just google motorcycle maintenance and all sorts of stuff comes up!
