You want to charge money for a stolen copy that he can download himself?

Isn't it a PDF file, just like all the manuals you can download?

If you paid $20 then you probably paid for the same stolen copy.
The genuine manual is available from HelmInc.com.
1996-99 CBR900RR Shop Manual - Helm Incorporated

You are trying to sell a stolen manual for money, that's why your balls are hurting. I could "help" by posting links to the numerous sites hosting these manuals - but that would be illegal as well.
If he wants a free manual he can find exactly the same one you have (which is exactly the same as the one you buy from Helm for $65) very easily via Google without paying for it.

You don't have to run anything by me, just read the forum rules.
Even if you paid for a legitimate copy it is still illegal to sell further copies of it.

That's a fair comment, I should've taken a little more time and directed you to the FAQ, sorry about that.

For what it's worth, I personally believe the manufacturers should freely supply the manual with the vehicles, just as we get with almost any other product we buy. I don't agree with the concept that owners should have to pay for a manual which is required for them to be able to maintain their vehicle within the manufacturer's specification, but I do support this forum's not promoting the propagation of illegal materials.

Re: 1997-99 CBR900RR Service manual

Thank you Gentlemen, but I broke down and bought the OEM copy from my buddy who runs a shop. I agree with Blade, bootleg stuff is out of my zone. However your offer to help out was appreciated. Cheers to all..
