WTB: exhaust for 954

Just picked up a 954 with a stock exhaust and it's way too quiet for my taste. Anyone have anything that's loud but not super obnoxious?

Re: WTB: exhaust for 954

Ebay is usually the best bet. I have a full Arata system, but those are fairly expensive. I've had a cut-down Two-Bros that sounded fantastic and a standard-length Two-Bros that was a tad quieter but still sounded nice. I love my current exhaust for the performance gain and tone, but it is still just a hair on the quiet side until you open the throttle up hard.

Re: WTB: exhaust for 954

Is that a full exhaust? I really just want a louder can (if that's a thing). Sorry for the ignorance I've been working on cars my whole life but bikes are new to me.

Re: WTB: exhaust for 954

My Arata is a full Ti exhaust, but there are definitely a lot of slip-ons (actually bolt-ons for the 954) available. I had two different Two-Bros cans that both sounded good. The Arata is not available as a slip-on (as far as I know) because of the mounting system, it slips over the exhaust rather than bolting to it as the stock exhaust does.

I would recommend browsing ebay and seeing if you can find a good deal on there. I have seen bolt-ons go for $100 in decent shape. If you can find a "shorty" exhaust, typically shortened exhaust that WAS standard length, they are a bit louder.

Re: WTB: exhaust for 954

Great, thank you for the advice. Are there any brands I should definitely stay away from?
