Cracked alternator housing?

Any ideas on how to repair this other than a new motor? It's a 2006 honda fireblade 1000rr

Get a good welder to have a look at it.

I know the guy I use for welding stuff I can't could fix that. May have to take the engine out of the bike.

I just jb welded a same exact crack as that on a 929 motor im gonna see how it holds up. its been a week and no leaks

JB weld will leak eventually. I JB'd mine many times with no leaks at first then over time it looks like you own a Harley with puddles under your bike. The oil will coat the foam in the plastics and goo up the lower.

That sounds realistic....better start looking at low mile motors! And I did not add that face thing on my reply

Have it welded. Should be around 50-100 depending on if engine is out or not.

Jj weld and paint some sealant on the inside oil just splashes around in there.
