Re: threw her down...

You alright? Sounds like it, and that's the main thing. Sorry she hit the deck, sounds fixable. Heal up and get back at it buddy. You've already ridden more this year than I have in 15 years

Re: threw her down...

Yea cold tires. And super bald :-) rear tire is a slick at this point. But she still grips hard on good road pulls wheelies easy. So i dont think tire ia trash yet. Still grips great in corners. Just slick road and maybe damp tire from grass.??
And yes it was the gsxr.. Waybe the rollin burnouts in grass earlier that day impregnated the rubber and made it slick? Hell if i know.

But im okay many years of practice falling helps.

Gotta pull stator cover and seal up the crack in it. Then drive a socket on clutch lever since its broke after i tried straightening it. Then fix the gas tank Again...

Re: threw her down...

Two weeks ago today had a run in and had escape uh ohhh...
All free and clear. But while hiding out on backroad seen lights so ran bike into what i thought was trees and bushes but.....
What are the chances of walking off 10ft culvert? Well i did. Man she sat half submerged for few hours till could walk home get truck two come alongs two 10ft chains and ramps.
Obliterated stator cover bent shifter rod at like 70° angle ruined gauge busted windshield scraped left side frame.
Busted up 3 left hand fingers sprang my neck sore ribs etc. Landed face first in mud so lucky didnt smash head into rocks.. When i got back at daylight saw how bad it really could of been.
Was hell of a night to say the least.
Ordered new stator cover, bent my shifter rod back, dissassembled gauge still tryin make it work again. Drained oil no water in it. Second time got lucky and didnt smash up the muffler and header. Rotors straight forks seem lil twisted maybe id expect that she went down over 8ft nose first. Whap. I remember oh crap!!! This long fall then BANG white flash. Got up hand felt wet clicked on flashlight hand was bleeding
something fierce.ripped skin up to bone on one finger then peeld back nice chunk on another finger and nice deep cut on another finger. One looked broken but pulled on it and looked better.

Ill upload some pictures here in a little while.[IMG][/IMG]

Re: threw her down...

Here's the funniest part of this whole story. Every time you disappear from posting I think to my self "poor Bryan, probably drove his bike into a ditch". And what do you know? You did, kinda! I'm gonna throw this out there, it's the bike. It doesn't like you. It knows your true dedication is to the old 9er, and it's jealous. That's why it keeps trying to kill you. Time to move it.

Glad your "ok" for the most part. Hand looks kinda gnarly, but I guess it will heal up ok. Keep us in the loop kid, as Jondog said it's a bud light sort a love affair.

And yes, FFS is exactly what you think it is. Hahahahahaha

Re: threw her down...

Picked up super nice 2000 F4 600, with f4i gauge plastics tail headlight etc.
Bike looked like was converted with nice bike and never rode again.
So im parting it all out. Paid 300 for whole bike.
Figure sellin mostly all parts should pony up near 2500$

But i came to say is my gsxr750 will be getting F4i gauges retro fitted. Since mine are toast.

But i have tons parts for sale everything is great. Now spread all over my shop. 2hrs and it was in many pieces swinger motor frame all seperate front end shock wheels harness. I mean tore down. 2hrs lol crazy

anyways. Ill be back in day or two with photos of my new f4i gauge hooked up and working. Hopefully
