Well i tried doing a wheelie on her after i got the sprockets redone . n well lets just say i layed her down but now i cant find a front rim for it but i can find a 97 what would be the issues I'd have to overcome?
Well now, that's one way to introduce yourself to the .org Good Grief.......better to keep the rubber side down.
The hassle of trying to retro fit a 95-97 front rim will be much MORE of a hassle than trying to locate a 98-99 rim.
The hub is a different width requiring different spacers. The brake disks on yours are larger and a different bolt patter, AND the calipers have a different offset because of the larger disks AND the forks are farther apart. Do this instead:
Get an F3 or 94-97 VFR front rim, 97-98 Carbed Blackbird disks, and make 2 spacers in these dimensions:
EBC Prolites, nice!
When I had my rotor adapters made, my machinist tooled up spacers for me out of stainless.
