    So I have had my 2004 CBR1000RR for about 5 months with no problems until recently. I noticed a hose came off which caused all of my coolant to leak out and the bike to run hot.     Wraped my headers. Used snakeskin header wrap, good upto 2400*F. If anyone has any questions please ask. If you are thinking about doing it I can offer some tips. It took 50 Feet with 50% overlap. My bike does run a few degrees cooler, @ 176*F as apposed to 181*F. It stays ALOT cooler...

    I was getting my 93 cbr 900 winter ready and i noticed that it was running really hot. Was a little more than 3/4 of the way to overheating. And it was just sitting in the garage idling normally.
