Anyone interested in a 2000 model CBR929RR for sale? Asking $3990 for it.
It is virtually stock. It has frame-sliders, heli-bars, a carbon-fiber look hugger/chain guard, and LP 360 footpegs on it. That's it. No loud-a_ss squid pipe. No funky turn-signal or other electrical mods. No butchered body work. Just a good, clean, well-maintained bike.

It is yellow and black (yellow on top and black on bottom...the 2001 model has that switched around.) It is in good to very good condition (everyone varies on how they rate these things.)

I don't stunt. I don't wheelie. I just ride. And ride. And ride. Which gets us to the mileage part. It has 56,000 miles on it. I know. That's a lot. I used it as a sport-touring bike and it's been a blast! But I'm getting older and wanted something more comfortable for the long haul. So I bought an FJR1300. Now the CBR has to find a new home.

For the record, the bike has rec'd oil and filter changes every 3000 miles. It burns no oil and does not smoke at all. It runs very strong. It had it's valves checked at 16 and 32K miles. All were in spec both times. The air filter has been replaced twice. The cooling system has been flushed twice. The brake lines got flushed and filled w/fresh fluid every year. The throttle bodies have been synchronized once (made a difference!). It has always been garaged.

Nothing is wrong with the bike (people always ask that!) It is ready to go right now, as is. Drop me an e-mail ([email protected]) or give me a call. 719-351-0822.

Bike is located in Monument, CO. This is north of Colorado Springs, CO about 10 miles. I'm about 45 miles from Denver, CO.

Thanks for the compliment. I try to take good care of my bike. It spends it's time in the garage when I'm not out riding it. That helps keep it from getting sun and weather damaged. People are always amazed when they ask me what year it is and I tell them its a 2000 model. They always think its a new bike.

Thanks for the compliment. The 929 is a great bike. Lot's of fun. Sorry to hear your bike got tore up in the back end. I wish I had some of the parts you're looking for, but I don't. Good luck finding them and getting your ride back on the road.
