ok swo i just picked up a 03 954 needs some tlc well this kid hacked the wiring on this bike so i said hell il get a harness sooo i put the main harness in and poof pump isnt goin on and fi light is lite after u try to start it i changed all the relays to the ones it came with/////the bike was running wen i got it the wires were hacked and the tack wired were no more please advise

hey thanks found one prob now have another ques where is the angle sensor what does it look like where is it?

On the 954 I think it's on the back of the headlight.

ok now i got it all figured out i got the new harness for the tac and i jumped the angle sensor nowww i have no spark the bike ran perfect with no probs b4 i did the harneses i had to unplug the ecu now i have no spark from the ecu i checked everythin u think it maybe the ecu i have injectors pumping away but no spark im stumped any info ?

Why did you jump the bank angle sensor?
If you re-connect it do you get spark?

im thinking the guy who had the bike before me used it as a streetfighter the front harness was mutilated soo i did all the wires the bankangle sensor was on it so i twisted the oter side wires together i jumper it rite ?

i have no poer coming out of the computer to the injectors at all the injectors work ok all sensors are connected ok kickstand sensor ok i tryed everything

I haven't opened up the bank angle sensor to see how it works but as far as I know it's a simple sliding switch which is normally open. It closes when the bike falls over.
I don't think jumping it is as simple as twisting the wires together.
Reconnect it and see if it works...

i never had one when i got the bike it was off the guy really f***ed up the wiring on the bike i believe he stunted it so he didnt want the bank sensor i saw on forums to tie together the outer 2 wires to jump it how can i check to see if its the ecm i might have blown it when putting wires back together and i pluged the mapsensor plug to the tps and the tps to the map

Hmmm...maybe jump it the same way it was jumped on the old harness then?
The only practical way to check the ECU is to replace it with a known good one and see if the problem goes away.

ok so i ordered a bankangle sensor and a new ecm off ebay hopefully it will work a new ecm is $850 so used will be just fine lmao:rant: :evilaugh:

had the same problem man you should try the this i was in the same boat you are Ok here is what i am dealing with.

Bike will turn on but no pump.

Here is the problem. DIODE under the ignition switch.

When this goes bad or breaks you can replace it with a new one.

What it does!

I am not sure how it works but it supplies the ICM with around 9v of power. IT IS NOT A RESISTOR.

Ok here is the backyard way to test this. IT WORKS I JUST DID IT!
(For a quick fix)

Take a 9v battery and ground the neg side to the frame. Now take the connect the pink wireunder the ignition to the positive side.

Turn the bike on and the pump will kick on if the diode is bad

try this man a new diode is like 5 dollars
