Brand Spankin new JSB cams and HRC power up kit all. I just opened the cams and pistons up to take the pix.

These have been in my possession for some time now and have been in their original HRC Box I received from Japan. It took me hours and hours of phone calls, emails, a few Japanese to English translators, and a hellovahlotta blood, sweat and tears to get a hold of these. I'm looking to let them go to invest in some other options so they are for sale for the right price.

Feel free to look into the actual retail price (plus shipping from Japan of course) and you will find that it'll cost you about $6000+ for this kit. I paid well over that to get this kit, as it includes some goodies that don't normally come with the kit, so for those of you wanting this for $1000, get real or get lost.

Asking: $4000.

Everything is brand new. Never used. Everything but the cams and Pistons are still sealed I do believe.

I'll post every part number for what will come with the kit. I believe it's a power up kit #3. I cant remember which one I decided to go with but let it be known that this is for the serious racer. I'd highly suggest getting it installed by someone who knows what they are doing and has done a few power up kits before. I have the setup in my bike currently and I thought about doing another build with this kit but I have my sights set on something else at the moment.

Comes with:

JSB Cams (Intake and Exhaust)
HRC Pistons
HRC Valves
HRC Springs
HRC Cam Gears
HRC etc... (will post all the part numbers up asap)

13101-NL9-000 (x4) (HRC Pistons)

I can ship to Canada for a little bit extra. I'll ship using UPS and have everything insured just in case there are any issues during shipping.

My last build was getting 181rwhp on the dyno. I pulled the kit off to get coated thru jethot as well as getting my full akra evo coated with a jethot 2000 coat so I'll have it redyno'd after everything comes back from jethot...

Thanks for the part numbers I appreciate it.Since you have put a similar kit in your bike what else would I need beside the parts your selling? Do I need an HRC ECU or my custom built PCV would be fine? What was your setup on your last build? Did you have overheating problems with your engine?Do I need a thicker head gasket?

It all depends on what you are planning on doing with the bike. If you just want to add a great amount of power quickly, just drop the kit in and go. If you want to fine tune, you can go balls deep and port and polish the head, Jet-Hot the parts (pistons, gears, full exhaust, etc...), nikasil plate the block, HRC ecu and harness, etc...

I mean the list can go on and on depending on what you want to do to it and how much $($$,$$$) you have to spend. All in all, I was super happy with just the kit drop in with porting and polishing the head. I then went with plating, jethotting, HRC ECU and Harness, and on and on... but the kit drop in just amazed me after I got it in. There are a few parts and pieces that you may want to get right away when you have it all apart for the install, but this kit pretty much includes the main players (the expensive part).

If you price this kit currently at US pricing not including shipping...if you can find a US supplier that has the kit in stock (good luck!), you're looking at $7170.49. If you buy it direct from Japan, plan on paying about twice that price (probably more) considering how well the yen is doing right now.

O/K ladies and gentlemen. I'm at the point if I did not love my 929 I might just run out and buy an 04' to 07' and these parts. So with that in mind I have a fairly potent 929 but I am curious, were such components available from HRC for the 929s. Any history would/will be great.
Thanks, Bob

i don't think honda ever produced HRC parts for a 929 (someone pls correct me if I'm wrong). I believe honda was all about the SP-2 in 02 and 03, and then put their efforts into the 1000rr from 04 and on. Even if they were produced and you could get them from somewhere, you'd be looking at at least $10,000 just to buy them!

Picking up a low mile 1000rr would be way more beneficial IMO. I've seen some 06-07's with under 1000 miles go for $4k on egay and CL with tons of aftermarket parts! Tis the season to buy a bike. Everyone trying to dump them to put that money into other places in these rough times.... ya know?

hope that helps!

yeah, i'm not knowledgeable when it comes to 929 but that's just what I remember when talking with some distributors and contacts in japan.

if anyone else has any information, post it up!
