Does anyone make a tail for the 08 1000? Who?

 

thats what i was asking you, i just bought my 08 1000rr cbr and the only thing i dont like is the tail, you know, where the turning signals are and where the plate goes....do you know if someone is selling aftermarket parts

I fitted the R&G last weekend. It is expensive, but there is a lot involved in making it when you see one. Makes a world of difference to the looks.

They don't have anything different than anybody else at this point though.

 

If you go for a R&G one i've noticed the postage is cheper through their ebay shop rather direct from their website. still be cheaper to go through a shop. Got my one ordered today for when my blade turns up

 

Order one through your Honda dealer, and postage is free ?!?!

My dealer charged me the base price, with 10% off as I had my Blade off them. Still not cheap, but looks the mutts nuts in comparison to stock.

My new number plate should be here today, forecast is dry for Friday and Saturday and 16-18C. At last :thumb:

If you order one, drop me a line and I'll give you a couple of pointers mate. I had a chin wag with one of the techs before I started mine and he pointed me in the right direction. Not the easiest job, but ok if you take your time. Better to have a go than pay a load of labour charges.

Don't think I would ever try and take the rear pegs off myself though after seeing half the bike in bits and still have more to do to get that job done !
