I got back a few minutes ago from about an hour long ride. I came in and got something to eat, then went back outside after about 20 minutes to hopefully ride for another half hour or so. Much to my dismay, it wouldnt start. It just sat there cranking for a while. I cycled the key and tried again, didn't get anywhere. This blows. What the hell is going on here?

is it actually cranking or just clicking.. check your kill switch.. if that's in the right position, prolly a battery..

Its cranking, kill switch is in the proper position... hopefully all is well in the morning and it never happens again. ever. I don't see how it could be the battery considering it sat there unridden for a week and started up immediately an hour before.

the battery they install are not great. same thing happened to me on my 600rr.. started it up.. rode to friends house, shut it off.. went inside for 10 min.. came back out.. and nothing but rapid clicks... dead battery.. replaced it and never had another problem..
