i have fitted a 1/6 turn tube on my 08 blade.has anyone else done this using a R6 tube.

the only problems are you need to make space in the cable holder,and getting the cable over the tube.otherwise its not that difficult.resonably cheap as well.

Done, dremel to make room for the new tube, but what a fooka getting the cable on, ended-up snipping a corner off the tube cable entry to get the cable end in. Now need to try it out :thumb:

I just did this with an R6 throttle tube on my 954. It works very well. I had to use a dremel with a cutoff wheel to take out some of the plastic where the front throttle cable entered the throttle tube housing.

I also had to lift the tank and remove the air box so I could get to the throttle cables at the throttle bodies. I had to take those cables off, install the R6 Tube and then put the cables back on at the throttle bodies. Sorry, no pictures this time.

I rode the bike this past weekend and I adjusted to the quicker throttle very well. I like it!

Track days this weekend. Bike is prepped and on the trailer. w00t!
