I am slowly restoring/putting together a 1993 900rr. I have a snapped bolt in one of the seat holes, and the other missing. Since I can't drag the frame to home depot to figure out the thread pitch and size, I've been trying randomly with no luck.

Was hoping someone might have the correct info so I can get a bolt extractor/tap and find two new bolts to secure the seat on?

Thanks a ton!

I'll try to look it up. I got a large pdf of a 900rrparts for a 98 fireblade, the frame diagram does not actually list the part for the bolts to hold on the seat, but every single bolt to keep the frame together. Maybe I overlooked it, but couldn't find it.

M6. I'd have to check the length, or check your fiche again.

To get it to fit securely you'll be wanting the two tophat washers too.

I've got a '94 parts list and it calls for a M6X20.

Thanks a ton, I'll go get an M6 and try it out.

I went through the pdf I had and found mention of a bolt. It is a "Honda 6X20" bolt which I found online at a place for $0.75 so I ordered two.

Ooops I see that I got the response before I submitted my reply. M6X20 it is! Thank you!!
