I have been posting about my pride and joy on various treads recently and I have been asked a couple of times for pics, so rather than putting up pics on a selection of threads I thought I stick a few on Review My Ride Section. So what do you think???

Few Mods as Follows (In no particular order):
Clear Rear Light
Removal of the rear indicators, now positioned inside the rear light (See Photo)
Mini Arrow Indicators at the Front
Under Tray
Small Number Plate
17ins Front Wheel
R&G Crash Mushrooms
Ohlins Rear Shock
Ohlins Fork Internals (Being fitted this week)
Ohlins Steering Damper, Harris Fitting Kit & Harris Screen Brace
Dark Tint Double Bubble
Clear Head Light Protector (Not Fitted in the photos)
Various Carbon Trims (Head Stock, Tank Pad, etc, etc…)
Hugger
Dyno Jet Kit
Full Micron Exhaust System
K&N Filter
Data Tool Gear Position Indicator
Sintered Brake Pads Front & Rear
Braded brake Lines Front & Rear
Data Tool Alarm System
Sergeant Riders Seat
Rental Sprockets
Gold DID Chain
Pirelli Diablo Super Corsa’s BSB (Being fitting this week)
I think that is it so far…

Yea, fixed the bulbs to each side of the light cluster and they then shine out through the little bits each side of the cluster. It always seemed odd to me why the two little bits each side of the cluster where never used for anything...

Prunty, awesome looking ride :) have the same year n colour myself.
Been planning to sort the rear out on mine too, gonna be grabbing a a bike-it led brake light but struggling to find a decent undertray. Where abouts did you get yours? And was there mush chopping involved? Did you have to get rid of/shrink "the boot"?
Lol.
Sorry for all the questions pal.
Cheers,

Thanks for all the comments guys, it always nice to know your efforts strike a cord with others...

In reply to the questions by cbrherms and vfrman above:

The undertray was bought second hand of ebay for £20 so sorry I can't help you with where it originated from or a brand name...

The boot area is totally untouched but I did cut the rear mudguard off flush just under the boot area and screwed the undertray up to the underside of the mud guard. The undertray covers all exposed areas of the underside of the mudguard giving the smooth clean look. It even comes complete with a little flat area to fit the number plate. Note that I tie wrapped the number plate on as I couldn’t get to the inside the undertray when fitted to fit number plate screws

I'm most pleased with the turn signals, I think this add the most to the rear end. Firstly I had to get a clear rear light cluster (e-bay again) as I wanted to use the little side pieces and there was no chance of getting a cluster with amber side pieces. I did originally intend getting an LED conversion but none of then used the little side pieces so I decided to do it myself.

I took the bulb holders out of the rear turn signals that where fitted (the small arrow ones, the same as is fitted to the front). I then lined the inside of the little side pieces of the rear light cluster with a reflective foil (like you would expect to see in a normal light) to ensure no extra light reflected out the sides off the cluster. I wanted to make sure the turn signal light was defined and not shining out of everywhere around the rear end. I then stripped all panels of the rear and basically tie wrapped the bulb holder (with an amber bulb fitted) to the cluster mounting bracket. Fitted the rear cluster and the amber bulb sits just inside the little side pieces and the foil directs all the light out the back.

Well pleased...

Well, I think it looks awesome. I am not a big fan of integrated turn signals, but I am making an exception in this case...

Nice mini write up.

Gonna be grabbing the Bike-It rear light myself with the integrated indies, though gonna be making a few adjustments, will be grabbing some LED strips/blocks to put in the outer sections, and maybe desolder the middle lines of the indicator LEDs from the board to make the turn indication more pronounced.... But will see once I have it set up

Also, that looks like it could be a pyramid plastics undertray..... So an absolute bargain for £20!

Smoked fairing indies came today for the front :) Will be fitting those as soon as my relay arrives, whoop whoop

Also, seeing as you guys have had a look at the wiring loom, does it have just bullet connectors or those special Honda plugs like my 06 600F had....

Nice bike mistah!

Got any pictures of the rear light job? Looks extremely neat I like it. Since mine's all black been considering a smoke led brake and taillight (not indies built in, don't like them) maybe I could move my amber led arrows into this same position. Actually reminds me a lot of doing a similar swap on an old 250 ninja (gpx250 I think) which similarly had empty pods in the same location. I used Renault Clio bulb holders to make them into extra brake lights as red pods meant indies didn't work right. eBay has amber pods these days!

What was your solution for the front wheel? Already bored of no ST rubber in 16" I don't ride fast enough to get much out of sports rubber.

Sorry I've no pics of the work in progress with the rear light and the front wheel is a modified VFR 800 wheel. The wheels are similar but the hub of the 800 is a bit wider so I had to take a couple of mill of the rotor seats on each side of the wheel.

Thanks for the comments, the mirrors as stock and I had thought of of putting the ones with the integrated indicators in them but I thought that it might spoil the look. You know the classic look mixed with the modern look.

The undertray is a £20 ebay special so I've no idea who the manufacturer is. I know the 97 model has quite a few subtle differences in the tail but wouldn't know what mods you would need to make a 98 undertray fit. I wouldn't think it would be that difficult as the underside shouldn't be that different...
