Replaced new hand grips & lubed throttle and cables. Now the starter button doesnt work. Key turns all lights on, no blown fuses, and I can jump the relay to start bike. Something must be wrong with the starter switch or engine stop switch assembly. Any ideas how to repair that?

I believe I had the same issue with my 96 900RR, wouldn't be surprised if it's the starter solenoid itself.

You said you can start the bike off of jumping the relay, leads me to believe that both the Kill Switch and starter switch are good.
