I posted a bit earlier today and thought I’d solved the problem. I hadn’t , but now I have. I had found the wrong contact with the green grown, but when I finally understood the wiering, I found the contact you were refereeing to. The large grey one. The plastic had been melting and no contact. I now got light and markers:) Again, thank you.

Hello, I saw this post and it saved my life. Was about to replace and re-wire my entire wiring harness. I noticed i had this same problem on that ground harness at the front of the bike. Ive tried looking everywhere but cant find what its called.

I need to replace the one that i currently have which looks exactly like this.

I don’t believe that is called anything. And I’m fairly certain it’s not available to buy. It’s just a ground block terminal. You could probably just cut it off and make a new one, making note of how all the grounds connect to each other.

I got the same problems yesterday, and I read your post. Thank you. Problem found after 10 minutes. The gray connector on the right side. See picture
Again, thanks.
So I'm going through this thread trying to find out of the if that plug short connector you posted does anything else or is supposed to be that way? They look identical. Did you replace or fix it? Did it work? Tha ks.
