I've got a 2002 Honda 954 last 2 days it seems if i ride for a coupple of hours and park the bike it wont restart. Both days the outside temp was near 90. If i let it sit for an hour or so it starts right up. When riding theres no lack of power or anything funny. I just got this bike 3months ago, its got a PCIII and a micron full system on it. Its happened 2x, and both time i had nothing with me to determine if its fuel or ignition related. The fuel pump was running when the problem occurred.

Any ideas? Is there anything i can check, or any sort of common problem?

thank you.

If too much heat is being transfered to the intake air temp. sensor it gets heat soaked. When you shut the bike off there is no moving air coming across it. this causes the bike to think it's plus lots outside and the fuel curve is leaned so much it won't fire. This happens to mine but I'm running an aluminum intake mahifold, so on shutdown there's a lot of heat energy to transfer. It's an idea:idunno: . The coolant temp sensor will also cause a lean hence horrid starting condition but there is lots of coolant to dissipate the heat so I doubt this is the problem.
