It's official. She's up for sale with more goodies than ever.

2004 RC-51 "Nicky Hayden" Edition. Adult owned, garage kept, purchased new in the summer of 2005.

- 4,200 miles on the bike
- Pirelli Diablo Corsa Tires w/ approx 1,100 miles on them
- Factory Honda Warranty (HPP) until July 2010
- Arata Titanium Slip-On exhaust (original included)
- Power Commander PCIII USB
- Magical Racing Carbon Fiber Hugger
- Dussault Undertail with clear signals and Kuryakyn regulator
- Fabbri Double-Bubble Dark Smoke windscreen (original included)
- Corbin Saddle (original included)
- Factory Honda Service Manual
- 3M Clear Tank Protector on sides of tank, carbon-look sticker on front
- Swing Arm Spools
- Scotts Damper and Mount
- Pit Bull Rear Stand

Trying to let her go as a package, as it would be a shame to break the bike apart. Please don't ask for the aftermarket stuff just yet. If I still have her through the winter, she'll go back to stock before the spring.

$9,299. Willing to negotiate on price, but some of the aftermarket parts have to come off. ;)

Pics taken on 27 Sep 06.

Well, I made the mistake of test-riding a 1200GT this weekend. I loved the bike so much that the RC, VFR and even my VTX may be going up for sale.

The RC goes to the best reasonable offer, all after-market parts (and four year Honda warranty) included. I doubt that there is a cleaner used one out there.

If she doesn't go in the next few weeks, I'll put her back to near stock:crap: and put her out for sale this spring.

Wow, DUX. She's gorgeous. My '03 will need a lot of work over the winter to catch up to something like that. Good luck moving her (don't think you'll have much trouble) and I hope you find a suitable home for her.

there really should be a carfax type service for stuff like that. luckily the RC is almost never a choice among stunnas.

 when you sell it, it belongs to someone else. While you have a nice bike what business is it of yours what they do with it?

I am still thinking to decide between the 2 different bikes...but knowing that you used to have an 03 954 as well before u sold it.Could you tell me how much of a difference is there between an RC and 954?.. thanks and good luck on selling your RC...

I was just joking and I agree, but it is nice to think that the next owner will care for it like I did.

Night and day.

The 954 was smoking fast and light in the turns. For me that wasn't the ideal situation on the street. It wheelied very easily and while it was great in the turns, I was always reminded that I was on a machine that vastly outpaced my abilities. I loved the bike, but it wasn't very unique in the ever changing world of inline-fours.

The RC is all about torque. It is deceptively fast but doesn't like to lift the front wheel. It is heavier, but that was a HUGE plus for me on the street. It is easy to throw into a turn and once there it stays put until you decide to change the line. It's a very stable bike, it sounds incredible, and it gets looks everywhere. It too far exceeds my abilities, but it seemed to carry me through my own mistakes better than the 954. Overall I found it much more fun to ride than the 954. The only reason I'm selling it is to make financial room to pick up a GS Adv for the wife and I to tour on.

I just paid her off so that I'd have the title in hand if she sells.

I think I'll feel better now if no one buys her. I promised to try and sell one bike before buying another.

.........At least I tried. :idunno: :D

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a GS Adv. I'd prefer to sell the RC first, so here's the final price drop.

Kelly BB suggested retail is $8050 (without the undertail, extended warranty, and new tires)

If I took off all the other aftermarket parts and sold them separately I figure that they'd bring in $1000-$1500. All stock parts with the exception of the rear-fender are included.

Bike still has 4,205 miles on it.

$8,200 FIRM for the whole package.
