I was looking at different cams and wanted to know if the conversion is possible with little or no modification.

I would assume they'd be a straight swap, but I don't see any advantage to doing so.

If this is about 1000RR the only difference is the intake cam. Exhaust cam is same. You will need allso 06-07 valve springs to the intake and 06-07 ecu whit higher rev-limit and the difference is few hp. Probably smarter to get the cams regrinded and still you might need the springs for intake or bouth and 06-07 ecu.

I figured I'd go with regrinding, but there is higher availability for parts f all sorts on newer model years. Thanks
