Possibly it's just how the CBR1000's are during break-in but my new 07 hesitates in the low revs. I find myself having to rev a little higher just to make sure I don't stall when starting up. Anyone have their bike act this way when new? Do you think it's just some simple adjustment that needs to be made. Uping the idle is the last thing I want to do.

I believe its the gearing, mine is the same - feels like you are reving it for a quick take off. I find that I ride the clutch slightly at times to keep the rev/speed right at take off. I'm happy that I can hold 1st gear longer when I give it a squirt, so where you gain you lose somewhere else.
