Hello everyone...

Recently purchased a new 2017 Honda Fireblade. It's just shy of the 300 mile break in mark. I've noticed the throttle degree value on the TFT display never goes past 65% in WOT. Is this a break in period limitation? Nothing in the manual about it.

By the way, the new Blade is radical! I've owned 1998, 2000, 2008 Fireblades, and this one takes the cake. Looks, power, weight loss, handling are world class. Looking forward to many road trips with it.

I don't *think* that's a break-in feature that is restricting the throttle % opening.

There was a video put out by Brock not too long ago (here's a link to it btw:
) that explains what the manufacturers (Suzuki, in this case) are doing in regards to the throttle opening % with these newer fly-by-wire throttle bikes.

Oh, post up bikes of the new Blade btw ! :)

Had a chance to look at the throttle position value on the display. It's the degree value, not the percentage value of the throttle position. 65 degrees is WOT. Blonde moment.
