Hi Guys,
I need your help. I am looking to get rid of one of my two 2009 CBR1000RAs and replace it with one out of the 3 bikes mentioned below. I also added some of the pros and cons that I see with each of those options. Would love to hear what you guys think and maybe you can even add some Pros or Cons that you see with each option.
1. 2019 CBR1000RR ABS
Price: about $15000USD
Pros:
1. Like the Black and Red Color Schme
2. Cheaper than 2021 model
Cons:
1. Will Need to add the Quickshifter (ca. $500 I believe)
2. 2019 CBR1000RR SP
Price: about $15000USD
Pros:
1. Electronic Adjustable Oelins Supsension
2. Brembo Brakes
3. Has Quick Shifter already
4. Cheaper than 2021 model
Cons:
1. Don't like the Red/Blue/White Color Scheme, hate the gold Wheels
2. Maintenance of electric suspension and Brembo Brakes I assume are higher. (Do I really need it for street riding?)
3. 2021 CBR1000RR ABS (apparently only available in US, not the RR-R)
Price: about $16500USD
Pros:
1. Newer Model Year
2. Love the new Black and Gray color Scheme
Cons:
1. $1500 plus tax more expensive
2. Will Need to add the Quickshifter (ca. $500 I believe)
3. Basically the same bike as the 2019 ABS
