Will 900rr clip ons fit on a 929? My bike went down yesterday and broke the right clip on. My friend has a set that came off his 900 and I was wondering if they will fit with the 929 having inverted forks? or if the diameter was thesame? If not I need a 929 clip of or a pair of a 954 for cheap as possible. I need as much money as I can towards fixing the tail section. If anybody every considered a Freestyle ingenuity cage. It was a good investment. MY bike went down around 75-80 and it went down on left side and flipped on the right and off the entire bike the Entire front went untouched with the exceptipn of a a few LIGHT scratches on the winscreen I think will buff out, by where the mirror use to be. I need a stock rear seat,or seat cover. But i need a clip on really bad mine broke and Cant drive it until then. ANybody have a white tailsection let me know. I have a spair but it has to be painted so i may buy another one of a deal comes a long. anybody have a cheap pipe without rash to replace the rashed can i have? THanks and The cage was the best money i ever spent for my 929 would probably be totalled the way it flipped it would have been over. Luckily for me I had that on the bike and a leather on my hide because I walked away with a quarter size scrape on my knee and a nickel size scratch on my elbow and a scrape 1inch tall by 3inch wide on lower back. Any body have any of the mention above parts let me know.

Thanks

Glad to hear you're OK. At the speed you were going that could have been a really nasty spill.

I'm also glad that you have minimal damage to the bike. How's the engine? Did you stand the bike upright and allow all the oil to drain back into the pan before trying to start it again?

There are several procedures and precautions you need to take before getting on the road again. For one make sure that everything is still tight and that no wiring got knocked loose or rashed. I would be sure to change all the fluids as well. You never know what can happen as a bike tumbles through the air and across the ground.

Everything seems to be fine It started up and no noises of any sort. It twisted the mid pipe but i had on spare off a 954. The can go rashed bit I had a crash cage that saved a lot. I need to replace some peices on the cage. The cage got twisted a little but I will do thurough inspection before I get it back on the road. I still need a Back seat and possibly a clip on I have to measure the clip ons from the 900 to see if they will fit. I know I am lucky. I'll be even luckier if everything esle on the bike is fine apon thurough inspection. Are the stock fork tube/ clip on size i need 50mm?

Thanks

I bought a used clip on off a 929. I still have the 900 clip ons but the measured 48mm so I went on the safe side and bought the correct one before I took it apart. The bike is all back together now and it looks better than before. Now it is one of a kind It runs and drives as good as it did before.

What year bike did the 900 clip ons come from? I've heard that the '98-'99 clip ons are a bit higher (more comfortable) and will fit the older bikes. If anyone can confirm that, it would be much appreciated.
