Every summer, I take a 2-3,000 mile trip on my 06 919. Any thoughts on how not to scuff my bike when I put my saddle/tank bags on.
BTW, when I travel, I switch the rear sprocket (easy) to one with two less teeth. takes the buzz out and makes it a great tourer, but doesn't compromise the ability to blast the twisties

I use clear adhesive plastic film. Mine is on a roll about 6" wide. Protects the finish and just peels off when done. My buddy got it from a sign company so I can't tell you where to find it but a graphics place must have it.
