hello everyone.. I'm trying to update my Honda f4 cluster. I just bought a 954rr with the entire harness. I'm trying to find the gauge/cluster wiring codes on where they run to.. push comes to shove I have to undo all wire and see where their going but that will take a lot of hours hoping someone already knows. I seen some diagrams for some reason their not same colors as mine for the 900rr so I'm hoping for a miracle...

Just so I'm on the same page. You have an F4, not an F4i, and you want to put 954 gauges on?

Why the 954? I know you're committed at this point, but why not the F4i set? I did it on my 900RR:



All the colors matched up, turn signals, tach, highbeam, oil, etc. All I have to do was change the pins because the connectors were male to male, or vice versa (I can't remember). But it was easy because I had my harnes unwrapped. I think it's highly unlikely your 954 gauges have the same connector as your F4, so your going to have to open them up anyway.

This was taken from another site, from a 99, but I just matched up the colors from the harnes to the gauges. I used my OEM 93 900 harness.

well lets start off why I did the 954rr digital gauge... it was only 108.00$ for cluster&entire wire harness.... the f4i and 954 are pretty identical in the way they look.. I already know the color wires for the f4 go to that's why I'm tying to figure out the colored wires for the 954rr go to so I can just cut it off the 954 wireharness and add the fitting for the f4 so I can just quick connect it to my oem harness with out cutting the f4.

The colors should be the same. But for some reason I think the 954 gauges need the 954 ECU in order to work properly.

i believe I figured the wire colors out now...I seen another guy post also about this type of swap

theirs two color wire you don't use one is the white/blue that's the ecm and the other is the flue injection just like the f4i gauge cause mine is carbs..

I'm looking to do the euro running lights in my 954. Can anyone tell me where the factory euro socket connector plugs into? The two light sockets meet in the middle of the headlight with a connector.
33140-MCJ-D00 is the factory socket/connector. I'm assuming it's not plug and play.

I need help frame 02 cbr 900 rr engine 954rr ecu America wiring harness??
No prime no spark only hear 2 relys click one when i cut lights on other kill switch on also a click in the main power box behind battery i have fi oil and a red flashing light bike turns over
I can also get pump on with direct hott and i can get it on by a test light by brown wire i beleave on fuel cut relay i have bas jumped and side stand my wireing harness has 16 on the black side and 17 on the gray side on the ecu plugs plzz help

Can anyone please tell me , I had a small elec fire and its melted couple of wires. They are 3 yellow coming from altanator/stator and I believe they go to the rectifier. now these 3 wires fell apart halfway , what I want to know is , can they be rejoined in any order or is there a certain order that they need to run from alt/stat back to rec???

Hi, yes, the three yellow wires from the stator can be patched in any order.

The 929European(2nd one) is for a 900. ECU's Dont have same pin numbers. Any idea where to get the correct one?

I'm trying to find the pin out wiring diagram for my 2002 fire blade. I have seen some on line but non of them show what pin on the computer work with what wire. any one knows how to find out how to get a clear diagram thanks in advance.
