My fan is working but only keeps it at 227-228 at a red light or driving slow. If I turn it off at that temp it is boiling in reservoir? No signs of head gasket problems such as cloudy oil or oily coolent yet. Maybe just needs flush. Run honda coolent, never had a problem before. Thanks for your time.

I just took notice of fan coming on at 225, turned it off & was already boiling in reservoir at 225 deg? Shouldnt my fan kick in at 217? & would it be boiling that much at 224-225? Again, thanks for your time, new to sportbikes.

When I squeeze hose I feel no pressure. Nothing leaking from pump. Nothing circulating. Guess I will order a thermo? Anyone know other test I could do to determine which is faulty? Thanks

Before you start replacing parts take off your rad cap, run the bike and see if there is any air in your system by bringing it to boil up, switch it off, replace the cap and see how the system operates. If it is still getting too hot then start going through the system for other issues
